Kimberly-Clark and the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), today announced the "Double Your Donation" campaign to fund general program support for the AORN Foundation. For the second consecutive year, Kimberly-Clark will match all year-end monetary gifts made by AORN members up to $20,000.
The funds raised for the AORN Foundation go toward academic scholarships, research grants, professional development scholarships, and patient safety resources such as tool kits, webinars and seminar series
Donations will be accepted through Dec. 31, 2011

In 2010, the "Double Your Donation" campaign raised more than $28,000 from members for a total of $48,000 to support the mission of the AORN Foundation.
The AORN Foundation is the philanthropic arm of AORN and provides critical funding for resources and programs that support patient safety. Specifically, the Foundation supports perioperative nurses and advances surgical patient care through funding nursing scholarships, research, and educational resources. The AORN Foundation impacts more than 40,000 perioperative nurses and the patients they serve on a daily basis.
