RADNOR, Pa - Officials at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have cleared Sterilox Technologies, Inc, to market their high-level disinfectant liquid chemical system.
According to company officials, the system delivers highly effective, non-toxic and biodegradable disinfectant from a proprietary, Sterilox designed, generator. This is the first new high level disinfection chemistry approved by the FDA since 1999.
The system is based on the electrochemical activation of dilute brine solutions. It can be generated on-site and on demand at the point of use in hospitals, clinics and medical offices
