CLEVELAND, OH-Medscience, Inc. has created a one-handed, reusable needle recapping device called RECAP-1(TM). Designed to reduce accidental needlestick injuries, the compact, portable unit accommodates over 90% of the disposable hypodermic needles currently on the market. It is washable, can be sterilized for use in any sterile or non-sterile environment, and sits stable on any flat, horizontal surface.
