Hospitals that participate in Practice Greenhealth's Greening the OR Initiative are invited to produce and submit an entry in the Greening the OR video contest.
Participants are encouraged to create a video that best captures success in any area of the practice of increasing sustainability in the operating room, including:Â
- Highlight Practice Greenhealth and the Greening the OR program
- Promote sustainability in healthcare and hospital facilities
- Entertain and interest viewers your industry peers and customers
This contest represents an opportunity to show your creativity and talent while illustrating how to reduce costs and also reduce waste, energy use, and worker and patient exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Post your video on YouTube and email the link to GOR@PracticeGreenhealth.org by April 6, 2012. The video will be judged on content, popularity, creativity, and viewer comments.
Practice Greenhealth will show the winning video at the CleanMed 2012 conference and exposition in Denver, and the winner will receive the opportunity to download all of the recorded sessions at CleanMed 2012 for free.
The deadline is Friday, April 6.
