Rubbermaid Unveils New Microfiber Cleaning System

WINCHESTER, Va. -- Rubbermaid Commercial Products today announced that it will unveil its new Microfiber Cleaning System at this years American Society of Healthcare Environmental Services (ASHES) conference and exhibits at the Phoenix Civic Plaza in Phoenix, Ariz., Sept. 25-30, 2005.

Microfiber technology is displacing traditional cleaning tools in medical facilities at a rapid pace. Chief among its advantages: reduction of risk of cross contamination incurred in cleaning processes, reduction in amount of cleaning chemicals required, reduced strain on cleaning staff, and greater cleaning effectiveness. Bill Slezak, Rubbermaids healthcare industry manager, explains, While there has been some resistance to changing cleaning methods, microfibers advantages are undisputed.  With Rubbermaids new healthcare cleaning system, weve made it very easy for our customers to adopt microfiber cleaning.

This years ASHES show will feature a seminar on microfiber cleaning, Cleaning Is Believing, to be conducted by Judy Cline, an industry expert and Rubbermaids director of microfiber cleaning.
