Sage Products LLC will be supporting 11 first-time poster presenters at the upcoming WOCN® Society’s 46th Annual Conference. The conference will take place June 21-25, 2014 in Nashville, Tenn. Sage has given the WOCN® Society an unrestricted educational grant to provide a limited number of travel scholarships to support first-time presenters with promising new research focused on preventive practices for wounds.
The posters will be presented during the conference, available on the WOCN website and printed in a supplement of the Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing. The recipients of this scholarship are all current WOCN members. The first-time poster presenters and their poster titles are:

Universities and States Sue NIH Over Funding Cuts, Federal Judge Temporarily Halts Policy
February 13th 2025Twelve universities and 3 education groups filed a lawsuit against the NIH and HHS, challenging a 15% cap on research grant funding. A federal judge issued a temporary restraining order, halting the cuts while litigation proceeds. A hearing is set for February 21, 2025, and states and institutions are pushing for permanent relief.
