During the recent 2014 Novation Supplier Summit, Sempermed, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of disposable gloves, received the NOVAPLUS Supplier of the Year award for 2013.
As the sole source provider for NOVAPLUS exam gloves, Sempermed supplies the members served by Novation with a complete offering of quality nitrile, vinyl and latex products. Sempermed has been the manufacturer of the NOVAPLUS exam glove brands since January 1, 2011 and has continually added innovative products to the NOVAPLUS line; providing health care organizations with the most suitable hand protection options.
Pete Allen, area senior vice president of sourcing operations for Novation notes, “We are pleased to honor those suppliers who consistently provided superior service and value last year to the members we serve.”
This marks Sempermed’s first time being nominated for and receiving the NOVAPLUS supplier of the year award. In addition to Sempermed’s prestigious award, Novation also recognized 26 other suppliers for excellence during 2013 at this year’s annual Supplier Summit.
“We are humbled to have received this honorable award as the 2013 Supplier of the Year for Novation’s NOVAPLUS line. It has been a pleasure working with Novation to bring additional value to the members they serve and we look forward to supporting them for years to come,” says Marc Montalto, director of Sempermed’s acute-care division.
