Siemens Joins Global Healthcare Exchange

ISELIN, NJ-Siemens Medical Solutions has joined Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC (GHX) as a principal equity member.

Siemens, a global supplier of medical technology, joins GHX to improve procurement processes for hospitals and healthcare providers.

GHX is an Internet-based trading exchange that is building a normalized, verified industry-standard catalog from which hospitals can purchase both medical and non-medical products. Other equity members of GHX include: Johnson & Johnson, GE Medical Systems, Baxter International Inc., Abbott Laboratories, Medtronic Inc., Becton, Dickinson and Co., Boston Scientific Corporation, C.R. Bard Inc., Guidant Corporation, and Tyco International, Ltd.
