IDWeek, which had its inaugural meeting in October 2012 in San Diego, is a joint scientific meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) , the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) , the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA), and the  Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS). This years event was held Oct. 2-6, 2013 in San Francisco and attracted the worlds leading clinical thought leaders in healthcare epidemiology, infectious diseases and infection prevention. In this slide show ICT presents select highlights from the meetings educational sessions.
