MENTOR, Ohio-Steris Corporation has announced an agreement with Gemco Medical to market certain Steris products to the non-acute medical care market, including medical offices, long-term facilities, and home healthcare.
The marketing agreement includes Steris's broad line of sterility assurance products, and specialty chemical products used for cleaning, decontaminating, disinfecting, and sterilizing medical instruments and hard surfaces. The marketing agreement will emphasize Steris's high risk and routine skin care and cleansing products, used by healthcare professionals, at-home caregivers, and patients.
Gemco's national network of medical supply dealers will begin marketing the Steris products.
