The World Health Organization (WHO) will issue the next supplement to the consolidated guidelines on the use of antiretroviral drugs for treating and preventing HIV infection in the second half of 2014. This later supplement will include sections related to diagnosing and managing major opportunistic and other HIV-associated infections as well as on adherence and retention. Future supplements will address the interactions between HIV and noncommunicable diseases, mental health and nutrition.
