APIC Announces 2012 Heroes of Infection Prevention Award Winners

The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) congratulates the recipients of the 2012 Heroes of Infection Prevention Award. The recipients of this award have worked tirelessly to prevent infections and improve patient safety.

APIC established the Heroes of Infection Prevention Award in 2005 to recognize infection preventionists who have served their profession in an outstanding manner. The 2012 Heroes will be honored at a VIP breakfast on June 6, 2012. They will also be featured throughout the year in APICs main communication outlets.

The 2012-2013 Heroes program is supported by an educational grant from BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company).
