CaviWipes Take Surface Disinfection to a New Level

Article

ORANGE, Calif. -- Metrex Research Corporation announces the newest member of its surface disinfection line, CaviWipes in a flat pack. Its unique patented design offers a new easy-open/easy-close pull tab with slim, flexible packaging and adhesive-backed strips. Each flat pack contains convenient, durable, nonwoven, nonabrasive disposable towelettes presaturated with CaviCide(R) surface disinfectant cleaner. CaviWipes in the new flat pack allows for easy placement of disinfectant wipes in areas with limited space, helping to maximize countertop and storage space.

CaviWipes are recommended to clean and disinfect hard, nonporous surfaces in healthcare settings, such as hospitals, emergency medical settings, neonatal units, surgical centers, isolation areas, laboratories, patient care areas, dialysis centers, dental offices, emergency vehicles, police and fire vehicles, and other critical care areas where control of cross contamination between treated surfaces is required. CaviWipes are tuberculocidal, bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal. They are proven to kill TB in 3 minutes, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), HIV-1, hepatitis B virus, and hepatitis C virus in 2 minutes.

Over the past few years, an alarming increase of infections resulting from drug-resistant microorganisms has been reported in healthcare settings, schools, and other public facilities around the nation. This trend has elevated the need for surface disinfection products that are proven to kill these challenging microorganisms effectively. Patients and healthcare workers alike are looking to manufacturers, such as Metrex, to provide solutions that help protect people. In response, Metrex has launched a new innovative infection prevention tool, CaviWipes in a flat pack, to help minimize the risk of cross contamination of harmful microorganisms, such as MRSA.

"Each day we want our associates to exceed our customers' expectations while telling our story and inspiring others to do the same. We address the market with the purpose of 'Protecting People,' displaying our passion for what we do while educating others on the proper process of infection prevention," says Metrex president Todd Norbe. "Our reputation for knowledgeable industry sales consultants and high-quality infection-prevention brands such as CaviWipes(R), CaviCide(R), MetriCide(R), VioNexus(R), EmPower(R), and MetriCide(R) OPA Plus(TM) Solution effectively positions Metrex as a trusted partner across all disinfectant categories and infection-prevention needs."
