Contec, Inc. Receives Premier, Inc. Award for Operational Excellence

Contec, Inc. announces that it is a winner of Premier, Inc.’s Supplier Legacy Award. Contec, Inc. was recognized for its long-standing support of Premier members through exceptional local customer service and engagement, value creation through clinical excellence and commitment to lower costs.

“We are proud to have partnered with Premier since 2010 and are honored to be a Legacy Award recipient. Our involvement with Premier members and staff has been exceptional, which confirms the need for our products and services. The Contec team works closely with the pharmacy community to improve the compounding environment by identifying and implementing better cleaning and disinfection practices. Through these efforts we strive to contribute to better patient outcomes, lower costs, easing the daily challenges within the pharmacy,” says Rich Harris, Contec Healthcare’s Business Manager.

Contec, Inc. accepted the award at Premier’s 2015 Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in National Harbor, Md. on June 24.

“Contec has been supporting Premier members for years offering valuable products and services that help to lower supply chain costs and improve operating efficiencies,” says Durral R. Gilbert, president of supply chain services at Premier. “They’ve also supported alliance members during periods of increased need at a local level. We’re honored to recognize them as a Legacy Award recipient.”
