The Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) reminds clinicians that Sept. 14-20, 2014 has been designated as Environmental Services Week. It's a great time to recognize and celebrate healthcare environmental services personnel's contributions to the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections.
AHE's annual educational event, EXCHANGE 2014, will be held Sept. 21-24, 2014 in Tampa, Fla. The conference brings together environmental services, infection prevention, facilities, textile, design and many other healthcare professionals to learn from and share with each other, make valuable business connections and lead change in the field of environmental services, which includes surface disinfection, environmental hygiene and infection prevention.
