The Anne Cofiell Decontaminator of the Year award is given out annually to a technician by Healthmark. Cofiell reviewed all of the applications this year and chose Justice Boachies essay. It was a difficult decision, there were many great applicants. says Cofiell. This award recognizes the author of an outstanding paper focusing on understanding the importance of decontamination in their workplace environment. The winner receives $1,000 toward expenses to attend the IAHCSMM Conference, free registration to the annual meeting and an engraved plaque.
