Industry Leaders Launch Infection Prevention Company

Article

Business leaders in the infection prevention industry announce the formation of Ventyv™, a provider of infection prevention products. Ventyv’s initial product launch is in the hand protection category. The mission of Ventyv is to deliver superior infection prevention products that are consistently available to meet the demands of workers in the industries Ventyv serves. Ventyv will continue to supply Polymed® latex exam gloves, a staple brand in the market since 1997.

Ventyv is a member of the Sri Trang Group, the world’s largest fully-integrated natural rubber company with 41 locations, including processing and glove manufacturing facilities in Thailand and Indonesia. Its subsidiary, Sri Trang Gloves Thailand (STGT) is one of the world’s leading glove production companies with state-of-the-art facilities and is the manufacturer of Ventyv products. Billy Harris, the CEO of Ventyv, is currently a board member of STGT and previously served as CEO for a Sri Trang joint venture in the hand protection category.

“We know from nearly three decades of experience in this industry that consistency is most important when it comes to workers’ hand protection needs. Ventyv supplies a superior glove in the general purpose and exam disposable glove markets,” said Harris. “Our customers will be confident in our certainty of supply, because we are not dependent upon contract manufacturing like other U.S. glove suppliers and therefore are not dealing with the manufacturing challenges they currently face.”

With proper hygiene and hand protection being the first lines of defense in a variety of industries, including healthcare, dental, veterinary, food service and others,  Ventyv makes it easy for providers on the front lines to use hand protection. By removing primary challenges that often inhibit proper glove use, Ventyv’s disposable gloves are comfortable to wear and easily accessible from the packaging to foster disciplined habits to prevent larger health issues such as hospital acquired infections (HAI).

“Our customers know that Ventyv is a superior supplier because, as an organization, we are flexible, adaptable and responsive to our customers’ needs,” said Paul Educate, vice president of national accounts for Ventyv. “We are led by an experienced group of industry professionals that truly understand the infection prevention space and understand how our customers want and need to conduct business.”

A full line of disposable hand protection products will be available by Ventyv.
