Motor-driven Maneuverability

CHARLESTON, SC-LumiNate(TM), a new light for labor, delivery, and recovery (LDR) suites, is now available from Berchtold. Delivering 85,000 lux of color-correct illumination, LumiNate's compact, ceiling-suspended design blends with the home-like environment of the suite. After interviewing obstetricians and LDR managers, Berchtold designers and engineers created a color-correct, lightweight ceiling mount that keeps the lamp out of the way until it is needed. When necessary, the lamp can be maneuvered by the touch of a button. A motor-driven suspension allows the lamp to descend quickly and quietly.
