Model Loses Hands and Feet to Pseudomonas Infection

An infection with Pseudomonas aeruginosa necessitated the amputation of the hands and feet of a 20-year-old Brazilian model. News reports say that Mariana Bridi da Costa was initially diagnosed with kidney stones and then a urinary tract infection in late December.
