CHICAGO, IL-"Building Systems That Do No Harm: Advancing Patient Safety through Partnership and Shared Knowledge" is an upcoming symposium aimed at improving patient safety through the implementation of private sector error-reduction programs and strategies. Held at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, TX, June 28 through 30, the seminar will be hosted by John Nance, ABC's aviation news analyst and frequent speaker on patient safety issues. Other speakers include Kenneth W. Kizer, MD, MPH, Chief Executive Officer, National Forum for Health Care Quality Management and Reporting and former Undersecretary for Health, Department of Veterans Affairs; and William Runciman, MD, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Patient Safety Foundation.
