The second edition of "Practice Guidance for Healthcare Environmental Cleaning" will be available for purchase at the annual meeting of the Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) being held Sept. 16-19, 2012 in Phoenix.
The procedures and practices outlined in this resource have been reviewed by a team of environmental services and infection prevention professionals, including the AHEs Education and Knowledge Management Committee. The practices are evidence-based and provide the key elements ofwhat, how, when and by whom that are essential for optimal cleaning and disinfection in healthcare facilities.
