Preferred Surgical Products, LLC, (PSP) announces that it recently received a three-year, single-source contract with the Johns Hopkins Health System. Under terms of the contract, PSP will be the exclusive supplier of the STAT-COVER line of sterile equipment covers and the STAT-PAC line of infection prevention packs for OR turnover featuring the proprietary patent-pending STAT-BLOC antimicrobial surgical table linens.

STAT-BLOC is the trademark name for the proprietary, patent-pending line of OR table sheets and linens utilizing unique nanotechnology to incorporate a safe and effective antimicrobial that inhibits bacterial colonization on STAT-BLOC linens.

PSP president Debbie Wooley, RN, says, STAT-BLOC antimicrobial linens provide a significant step forward to enhanced performance improvement of the OR turnover process by providing an antimicrobial barrier between the OR table and the patient. As a small woman-owned business, we are proud to be able to serve Johns Hopkins Hospitals  and consider this award a testament to our ability to win new business on the merits of innovation and value creation. The award further demonstrates Johns Hopkins commitment to be inclusive of diverse and woman-owned companies.
