Registration Open for New Pressure-Ulcer Prevention Webinar Hosted by Sage Products

Sage Products announces that it will be hosting a new webinar program on the topic of pressure-ulcer prevention titled Targeting Zero Made Easy: Your Path to Prevention. The webinar will be held Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EDT, and will be presented by speakers Kathleen Vollman and Joyce Black.

Objectives of the webinar program include:
- Learning a specific protocol designed to prevent sacral pressure-ulcers by addressing moisture, mobility, friction, shear, and pressure
- Gain the ability to recognize the value of appropriate patient repositioning 
- Learn about the prevention of incontinence-associated dermatitis, a leading risk factor in the development of pressure-ulcers.

Kathleen Vollman, MSN, RN, CCNS, FCM, is an experienced clinical nurse specialist, educator and consultant who has published and lectured throughout the world on a variety of critical care and professional nursing topics.

Joyce Black, PhD, RN, is currently an associate professor at the University of Nebraskas College of Nursing and has served as the co-chair of the task force to define deep-tissue injury. With experience that includes being a past president of the National Pressure-Ulcer Advisory Panel, Black provides an excellent opportunity to further your knowledge of skin breakdown and treatment.

Time will be allotted for a Q&A session immediately following the conclusion of the presentation.
