Sharps Safety Best Ideas Awards Initiative

The 2000 APIC 27th Annual Educational Conference and International Meeting announced the launch of Sharps Safety Best Ideas Awards Initiative. In conjunction with APIC, SIMS Portex, Inc. will be making up to $10,000 in monetary awards available to healthcare professionals that contribute their ideas to the preventions and management of sharps object injuries. The awards will be made in conjunction with the 2001 APIC 28th Annual, Education Conference and international Meeting in Seattle, Washington. A compendium of up to 100 leading ideas will be published for industry-wide distribution.
