In 2014 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended that all acute-care hospitals implement Antibiotic Stewardship Programs (ASPs). In honor of Get Smart About Antibiotics Week, Nov. 16-22, 2015, we present the CDC’s summary of the core elements of ASPs.
