Spectrum Surgical CEO Authors Textbook

STOW, Ohio -- Rick Schultz, president and chief executive officer of Spectrum Surgical Instruments Corp., has authored a comprehensive textbook titled, Inspecting Surgical Instruments, An Illustrated Guide. The fully illustrated book contains more than 250 detailed color photos. 

The book serves as a valuable resource for healthcare professionals, including surgeons, operating room nurses, surgical technologists, sterile processing professionals, and veterinarians.  In addition to the inspection process, the book covers the surgical instrument repair process, testing standards, instrument handling tips and more. 

Schultz is a lecturer, inventor, and leading educator in the surgical instrument field and has been president and CEO of Spectrum Surgical Instruments since acquiring the company in 1986. Located in Stow, Ohio, Spectrum Surgical Instruments Corp. offers surgical instruments and surgical instrument repair services.
