SteriPro Announces Three-Day Seminar on Ethylene Oxide, Gamma and E-Beam Sterilization

SteriPro Laboratories & Consultative Services, a subsidiary of Sterigenics International LLC, will hold a three-day seminar on ethylene oxide, gamma and e-beam sterilization Aug. 19-21, 2014 at the Marriott Suites of Downers Grove in Illinois.

Seminar topics include:

• Day 1 -- Introduction to Microbiology and the Science of Lethality; Operational Review & Tour of Sterilization Processing Facilities.
• Day 2 -- Industrial Ethylene Oxide Sterilization (EO): introduction to the science, the engineering and the physics of an EO Sterilization Process.  In addition to the information presented, most sessions will also include interactive ‘hands-on’ problem solving activities involving the Development and Validation of an EO Cycle, Selection and Development of an External Process Challenge Device, Performance of a Product Adoption Study, Analysis & Evaluation of Cycle Data, and the Development of a Robust and Successful Parametric Release Program.
• Day 3 -- Industrial Radiation Processing: Introduction to the Science and Methodology of Gamma & Electron Beam Radiation Sterilization; Materials Compatibility, Radiation Effects & Mitigation; Radiation Dose Validation with Hands-On Session; upcoming Regulatory Changes.

The cost is $1,600 per person and includes lectures, meeting materials, meals, facility tour and three nights' accommodations at the Marriott Suites of Downers Grove, Illinois.  Early bird registration prior to June 20 results in a $100 discount.
