TeleTracking to Launch New Solutions at Upcoming Users Conference

Article

TeleTracking Technologies, Inc., a leader in delivering patient flow and capacity management solutions, will preview the largest array of new solutions in its 23-year history at its 12th Annual Client Conference this October. The line-up includes automated solutions that speed patient discharges, solutions that extend beyond the four walls of the hospital, new cloud-based applications, and a new infection-fighting application -- all designed to help hospitals run as efficiently as possible and provide greater access to care.

Health policy experts Christopher Calkins, PhD, of Penn State University, and Stuart Clark of The Advisory Board Company, an international healthcare research firm, will be keynote speakers.

This year's conference also will explore how harnessing the power of data will fundamentally change the way hospital functions are managed to drive operational excellence.

"It's been said that every two days we create as much information as we did since the beginning of time," says Michael Gallup, TeleTracking's President. "Data analysis plays a major role in the convergence of technologies that can monitor, manage and alter hospital operations in real time."

TeleTracking recently integrated its business analytics, RTLS and capacity management solutions to create the first healthcare operations management platform of its kind. The platform gives hospitals the ability to deliver quality care more efficiently than ever by tracking patients, staff, physicians, assets, temperature, hand hygiene compliance, the flow of patients through the admission – transfer – discharge process, and OR performance, from a single source.

Conference attendees will get a glimpse into the future with a report on the UK's New Cross Hospital, the world's first "real-time hospital," that uses TeleTracking's RTLS technology to automate nearly all of its daily operating procedures enterprise-wide.

A panel discussion on expediting patient discharges will feature representatives from Geisinger Health System, UPMC Mercy, Rapid City Regional Medical Center and North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System. Other topics include the impact of centralized patient placement on length of stay, the integration of TeleTracking with EMR systems, extending operational management into procedural areas such as the OR, RTLS capabilities across the care continuum, bootcamps and much more.
