Allegiance Acquires Assets of Critical Care Concepts

McGAW PARK, Ill-Allegiance Corporation, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, Inc., has acquired the assets of Critical Care Concepts, Inc. (3Ci) of Norcross, Georgia.

3Ci is a specialty distributor, leasing agent, and repairer of respiratory-care products.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The majority of assets of 3Ci from Bank of America and other lenders have been acquired by Allegiance. 3Ci will cease operations and its 200 employees have been hired by Allegiance.

The acquisition broadens Allegiance's respiratory-care product line, which includes ventilators, heated humidification devices, and nebulizers. Allegiance is a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, Inc.
