Article

Key Surgical announces its release of the Edition 25 product catalog. This new catalog includes expansions of its line of instrument protection, instrument cleaning, tags, sterile processing and OR products. These products are essential to instrument processing within hospitals and surgery centers.  Key Surgical added over 300 items to the full-color catalog with many products shown actual size which assists customers with order accuracy. A physical copy of the catalog can be requested while an electronic version is available for immediate download on the website.

A few of the new products are:
- Instrument Sleeves: An alternative to instrument tip caps, Instrument Sleeves protect instrumentation during sterilization. Available in three sizes, the easy-to-fold design offers protection for instruments up to 50mm in width.

- Scope Cleaning Brushes: Now available in either single use or reusable styles and lengths from 9cm to 230cm. The scope brush diameters range from 1.1mm to 11mm and are designed to clean every channel on a scope during reprocessing. Available individually, packages of 50, or assortments.

- Scope Tags: For use on processed, dry scopes prior to hanging. Available in seven bright colors for color-coding and designed for clear communication regarding processing dates and other critical information. The easy-to-use, self-looping tags are available in two styles and include a lab marker with waterproof and alcohol resistant ink.

- Instrument Stringers: Extended width (5.5 inches) U-Shaped instrument stringers designed to keep hinged instruments open during cleaning and sterilization. Also new to Key Surgical is the T-Bar Stringer and Instrument Stringer Stand. All are designed to assist with proper cleaning and organization of instrumentation during reprocessing.
