Kimberly-Clark Health Care announces the contract renewal with HealthTrust Purchasing Group (HPG) to supply KIMGUARD single-ply and double-ply Sterilization Wrap. Kimberly-Clark Health Care has had a long-standing relationship with HPG and under the terms of this new dual-source, three-year agreement effective June 1, 2012, HPG will continue to offer KIMGUARD Wrap products to its more than 4,000 members. HPG is a group purchasing organization that supports approximately 1,400 acute care facilities, as well as ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices and alternate-care facilities.
Kimberly-Clark Sterilization Products keep sterilized surgical instruments and supply sets ready to use at a moment's notice, providing sterile processing and operating room professionals with the highest-quality products in the industry. As part of the new agreement, HPG members will have access to the latest KIMGUARD wrap innovations including KIMGUARD ONE-STEP QUICK CHECK Sterilization Wrap. Like all KIMGUARD products, QUICK CHECK Wrap is made in the U.S. and features patented POWERGUARD technology which helps provide bacterial filtration efficacy (BFE) from 98.9-99.9 percent, making QUICK CHECK* one of the best microbial barriers available.Â
